The year 2018 is the 150th anniversary of the Meiji Restoration of 1868. On this occasion it might be remarkable for us to examine the meanings of the Meiji Restoration, the history of Modernization, and the problems of Modernism in Japan from various perspectives.

Time: 13.30-15.30
Venue: The Kamakura Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Basement Hall
(Address: 17-29 Onaricho, Kamakura/ 5 minutes walk from the west exit of Kamakura station)
Admission: 1,000 yen for each lecture
First 120 applicants for each lecture
