BREATH OF LIFE
Shin MIYAZAKI

April 5 – June 29, 2014

Shin MIYAZAKI (b.1922) began his career with realistic painting. Meanwhile, his collages of cloth became larger and abstract from the 1980s onwards. At the root of Miyazaki’s creations lies his feeling towards life, reviewed through starving circumstances after the war and his internment in Siberia until 1949. A retrospective through approximately 80 works and additional reference materials.
