Access
Train station: Kamakura (JR Yokosuka Line and Enoden Line). Walk in the direction of Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine and Kitakamakura (about 15 minutes). Or take Enoden Bus from bus stop No.2 at the East side (Higashi-guchi) of Kamakura Station (5 minutes-ride on buses to Ofuna Station, Kamiooka Station or Hongodai Station) and get off at Hachimangu-ura. 2 minutes-walk from the bus stop.

The Nihonga (Japanese-style painting) artist Tamako Kataoka died aged 103 in 2008. A choice selection of her works, which are still immensely popular, is introduced. Through approximately 20 works and 30 materials, the present-day charm of Kataoka's art is explored.
