New Acquisitions of 2013 & Drawings by KOIZUMI Junsaku
April 5 - June 22, 2014
Works acquired in fiscal 2013 are introduced, from oil paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec and San Giovanni to woodblock prints by SAITO Kiyoshi. Particularly notable is “Portrait of Herta Heintze,” a masterpiece by MURAYAMA Tomoyoshi. There is also a corner featuring approximately thirty drawings by KOIZUMI Junsaku (1924-2012), a nihonga artist who continued working in Kamakura.
