The nihonga (Japanese-style painting) artist HORI Fumiko (b.1918) continues to depict the beauty of nature and life. Traveling around Japan and overseas, what made an impression on her on such journeys have been expressed in the form of fresh works and charming essays. The world of Hori is introduced through representative works, drawings, and writings in an attempt to explore her art history and human image.
-Two exhibitions are held simultaneously; "HORI Fumiko" at Gallery 1, 2 and 3a, "From Museum Collection: Winter Journey, Voices of Spring" at Gallery 3b.
