One of the focuses of the 'Naojiro Harada Retrospective’ exhibition is the cultural exchange between Germany and Japan in the late 19th Century. From what sort of historical and social contexts can we retrace footsteps of this first Japanese art student in Munich (1884-86) today? Hear researchers present their individual perspectives and venture comparison.
