About the Exhibition
Kijuro Yahagi (b. 1952) is known for his multi-faceted, deeply contemplative approach spanning a broad range of fields, from photography, sculpture, and architecture to criticism. His reputation extended internationally, as seen from his solo exhibition "Hidden Japan" touring 103 venues across 67 countries for 14 years, and his participation in art festivals around the world. Here, through a selection of his key works, we consider his thirty-five-year long career, based upon thinking visually, finding fresh and intelligent and fresh ways of considering the world, and passing these on to others.
