Henri Rivière (1864-1951) was a printmaker and painter who was active in France from the late 19th century to the 20th century. This is the first ever retrospective of this artist as a result of joint research by Japanese and French scholars on works and reference material donated anew to the Musée d’Orsay and the Bibliothèque nationale de France.
