The Museum of Modern Art, Kamarakura & Hayama is awarded the Japan Foundation for Regional Art-Activities (JAFRA Chiiki Sozo) Prize in 2019. This prize was established in 2004 to promote cultural development in regions, giving honor to those public cultural facilities which have played important roles in the promotion of creative-expression activities.
 
We have contributed to the promotion and spread of culture and art for a longtime through exhibitions, school activities, lectures, and workshops, which led to this prize. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has cooperated with our activities.
