The German contemporary artist Horst Antes is known for his unique corporal expression, the “head and feet man”, a figure hauntingly familiar of the past but also of the future. He is also known as a passionate collector of primitive art and has the largest collection in the world of Kachinas dolls made by the Pueblo Indian of north America.
In the first part of the exhibition, 79 Kachinas dolls will be on display. The second part presents around 60 works consisting of oil paintings, prints and sculptures by Antes.
