Admission fees vary according to the exhibition.
Reduced charges for groups of 20 or more are shown in parentheses.

Free Admission

The following are eligible for free admission.

  • Children and young people up to the junior high school students (under 16)
  • Persons with disability and (generally) one helper or attendant upon presenting Disabled Person's Handbook or an equivalent form of government-issued identification.
  • High school students and attendant teachers in supervised groups on educational outings (application in advance needed).
Concessions

The reduced rate is generally 100 yen off of the admission fee.

  • Family Communication Day

    All family members (except for 65 and over) accompanied by children under 18 on the first Sunday of every month.

  • Repeater Discount of Kanagawa Prefectural Museums

    For: those who with a purchased exhibition ticket stub (within six months) of Kanagawa Prefectural museums listed below.
    Note this discount will NOT be applied to those high school students and seniors (65 and over).
    Discount rate varies by museums.
    It also applies for tickets purchased from the same museum.

Please follow the instructions:

  1. Follow the instructions of our staff during your visit.
  2. Do not touch the exhibits, platforms, or cases unless invited to.
  3. Do not take photographs and videos without permission unless a sign or label says it is okay.
  4. No smoking in the museum.
  5. No eating or drinking, except in the designated areas.
  6. Do not bring umbrellas or large bags in the galleries.
  7. Sketching and writing is allowed in the galleries with pencils only and with a sheet up to A4.
  8. Turn mobile phones off, or switch to silent mode. Telephone conversations are prohibited in the gallery.
  9. Pets are prohibited, except for assitance dogs.
