“Unprecedented: Women Photographers from the GDR”: Film screening “Die Unbeugsamen 2 – Guten Morgen, Ihr Schönen!”

In connection with the exhibition “Unprecedented: Women Photographers from the GDR”, we will screen the documentary film “Die Unbeugsamen 2 – Guten Morgen, Ihr Schönen!”.
This documentary, which had its Japanese premiere at the EU Film Days 2026, is a sequel to the film “Die Unbeugsamen”, a documentary that tells the story of female politicians in the Bonn Republic. “Die Unbeugsamen 2” focuses on 12 women who lived in the former East Germany. The exhibition’s featured artist Gabriele Stötzer appears in interviews, and photographs by other featured artists from the exhibition are included in the film.
