HAYAMA: Please consider using public transportation during Summer crowds

Currently, the area around The Museum of Modern Art, Hayama experiences heavy traffic on weekends and holidays.
If the parking lot is full, we may have to refuse entry, hence we kindly request your understanding and cooperation to preferably use public transportation.

Please note also that due to road congestion, bus routes may take longer than usual.
Usual access to the Museum by public transport is via the Keikyu bus nos. 11 and 12 “Kaigan-mawari” (Coastal Route) from JR Zushi Station (East Exit, Bus Stop 3) / Keikyu Zushi-Hayama Station (South Exit, Bus Stop 1) to the bus stop “Sangaoka: Kanagawa Kenritsu Kindai Bijutsukan Mae”.
However, if the Coastal Route is congested, you can also take the “Yama-mawari” (Mountain Route) and walk approximately 15 minutes from the bus stop “Kyu-Yakuba-Mae” to the museum.
