Wilhelm Lehmbruck “Sculpture is the Essence of Things” is the first major retrospective of German sculptor Wilhelm Lehmbruck(1881-1919) in Japan, with the cooperation of Foundation Wilhelm Lehmbruck Museum in Duisburg and the Lehmbruck family.
Complemented by historical documents of the epoch, the retrospective consists of 36 sculptures, selected paintings, drawings and print graphics, amounting to a total of 130 masterpieces.
